Huron allows users to filter Funding Proposal (FP) data using a variety of criteria, such as ID, Name, State, PI, and Direct Sponsor. This feature helps users narrow down specific FP records or other information within the Huron platform.
To Filter Data:
- Navigate to the Grants workspace
- Click on Funding Proposal

- Navigate to the ‘Filter by’ area and select the column to filter by from the drop-down menu. The menu lists only those columns that can be filtered.

- In the text box, type the beginning characters for the items you want to find. If you do not know the beginning characters, type a ‘%’ symbol as a wildcard before the characters. For example:
- national shows all items beginning with national
- %national shows all items containing national in any position

For examples of a list of operators you can use, click the Help icon.

- Click the magnifying glass icon to apply the filter
- To remove the filter criteria entered, click Clear All

Using Advanced Filters
To narrow down the search further, you can add more filters.
- In the ‘Filter by’ area, click Add Filter

- A second ‘Filter by’ line will appear, and the additional filter criteria can be added. For example:

- Click the magnifying glass to apply the filter
- The table will show only those records that match the filter criteria
- Note: additional filters can be added to any query to narrow down the search further
- To remove an added filter, click on Remove Filter
